Today, our Directors Les and Ashlee had the pleasure of meeting Chloe Zuvela — the very first recipient of the Nanna Frances Wilckens Award for Dux of Legal Studies at Mount Saint Joseph’s Girls’ College.

Chloe is an exceptionally bright young woman with an exciting future ahead of her as she embarks on her legal studies at Monash University. Les and Ashlee thoroughly enjoyed their time with Chloe, sharing insights from their own journeys in the legal profession and hearing about her aspirations.

Meet Jess!

Jess is a key part of our team, and focuses on family law, intervention orders, and criminal law. She earned her law and criminology degrees from Deakin University, where her passion for justice really took off.

Jess gained hands-on experience at local community legal centres, sharpening her skills, especially in family law. She’s known for tackling complex parenting and property settlements with a practical, cost-effective approach, always aiming to resolve matters efficiently while keeping her clients’ best interests at heart.

Clients love Jess for her straightforward and honest advice. Her knack for breaking down complicated legal issues make her a go-to for clients who are facing daunting court proceedings for the first time.

When she’s not in the office, Jess is out running, enjoying the outdoors, or cheering on the Doggies in the AFL.

Meet Ashlee! With over a decade of experience in the legal industry, Ashlee is a seasoned pro and a Director and Principal Lawyer of Wilckens Roche Lawyers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations, History, and Literary Studies, plus a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University. Recently, she completed a Master of Laws specialising in Commercial Litigation, where she frequently scored at the top of her class. Fluent in Greek, Ashlee can easily connect with a diverse range of clients and has a real passion for her heritage and for connecting with the Greek community.

Ashlee has worked in various legal settings, from mid-tier law firms to boutique practices. Her experience includes advising ASX-listed companies, municipal councils, and large-scale builders which highlights her versatility and in-depth legal knowledge. Her broad practice includes but is not limited to Litigation, Commercial Law, Building Disputes, and Employment Law.

Clients appreciate Ashlee’s friendly demeanour and practical approach to law. She simplifies complex legal matters and offers clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s needs.
