✨ Student Visa Grant – A Journey of Resilience and Determination
We’re delighted to share another Student Visa (Subclass 500) success — granted on 10 March 2026, just two weeks after lodgement, for D, who will continue his Bachelor of Science and Advanced Studies at a Group of Eight university in Australia.
D’s journey has not been straightforward. Like many international students, he faced unexpected challenges during his studies — including disruptions caused by COVID-19 and significant personal difficulties. During this time, he experienced recurring anxiety and underwent a structured mental health treatment plan, including high-dose antidepressant therapy over the past three years to manage anxiety and depression.
As a result, he needed to pause his studies and returned to Vietnam after his previous student visa expired.
Despite these challenges, D demonstrated remarkable resilience. Rather than giving up, he sought professional support, prioritised his wellbeing, and gradually rebuilt both his academic progress and personal stability.
With strong family support, a clear academic plan, and his health now well managed, D is ready to complete the remainder of his degree in Australia following the grant of his new student visa.
