無論你是出國留學，打工度假還是觀光旅遊，選對租宿環境對你出國經驗留下美好印象。 對於國外租屋不了解的學生來說，選擇適合的學習讀書環境更是重要。以下是綜合幾種租房種類，會幫助你了解如何選擇適合你的住宿。國外有很多種住宿種類供你選擇參考，除了比價之外，選擇對你最適合的住宿是很重要的。

1. 床位出租 :🏡
很多在市區的公寓會提供床位出租，一個房間會提供兩個上下舖床位 (共四人), 兩室一廳的公寓也就會有6-10個人 (有些房東會將客廳出租)。

2. 單間:🏠
單個房間出租，有時會包括簡單的家具如床，書桌，檯燈，衣櫃等。有些也會包水電網路。房間大小會依照公寓種類。通常市區的公寓房間都偏小，市區周圍的公寓有些稱Flat。有些是一般房子出租房間。這些市區周圍的房間都會稍微偏大。

3. 整租:🏡
整租通常通過仲介承租或一般房東會要求簽寫同意書(contract/agreement)，兩室一廳公寓，或一般的平房或Townhouse (四-五房)。通常承租一整間會有最短期限6-12個月及一個月的押金。合同是依照地方州政府的規定。

4. Airbnb:🏠
Airbnb 通常是提供短租地觀光客或打工度假。Airbnb提供早餐或機場接送，比起hotel價格相對划算。

5. Homestay:🏡
Homestay 一般來說都是在郊區，房東將其多餘的空房出租給留學生。包含3餐及其他基本開銷 (水電瓦斯網路等)。

依照個人的預算及需求選擇適合你的住宿種類，一般而言學生選租床位價格便宜AUD150-220不等，依照房間大小，地點，室友人數等而異。然而，雖然價格便宜但通常公寓空間狹小，人數眾多。讀書環境有限。個人房間出租相較之下有自己的房間，生活空間較舒適，依照房東而異，有些有提供基本家具。若你希望有更隱密的私人空間，則選擇整租。整租一個房或兩個房的公寓/Townhouse。整租沒有包家具，水電。承租者必須自己安排。Airbnb比較適合短期旅遊 。若你期望待在某個城市1-2周或更久，選擇Airbnb會比Hotel划算。Homestay 一般提供給留學生一個當地自然英語學習的環境。提供homestay 通常都是當地的外國人，提供三餐。

無論你選擇哪種住宿，聯絡房東看房必須問清楚入住日期，押金，房租包含項目等。若你要確保自己住宿權益，可要求房東簽屬合約保障雙方權益。
