The Sunshine Coast's soul is expanded by its arts culture: by those who are creative and those who admire creativity.

We are proud to continue our support of the arts as major sponsor of the Sunshine Coast National Art Prize (SCNAP) – the region’s premier national contemporary art award - for the eighth year in a row.

The forty artworks selected as finalists will be exhibited at the Caloundra Regional Gallery from 21 August until 11 October 2026. We can't wait to see what the judges choose this year.

🌿 Quick Brief | Vendor Finance 🌿

Vendor finance can be a practical way to complete a transaction, particularly where traditional funding isn’t available.

It also shifts risk. Instead of receiving full payment upfront, the seller effectively becomes the lender.

Common areas to consider include:

🌿 Security: What protection is in place if the buyer defaults?
🌿 Repayment terms: Are payment timing, interest and default provisions clearly defined?
🌿 Risk exposure: If a bank won’t fund the deal, what risk is the seller taking on instead?

Vendor finance can create opportunity, but it extends the relationship (and the risk) well beyond settlement.
