🤗 If you have a keen eye for detail, great communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client files independently, we’d love to hear from you.
🏠 In this role you’ll be handling property transactions from start to finish, so strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst managing multiple deadlines are a must. Experience in conveyancing is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided to the right candidate. Confidence using the Microsoft suite and legal software (Affinity) is a plus.

Foreign Resident Capital Gains Withholding Changes

If you’re selling property in Australia, you may need to be aware of Foreign Resident Capital Gains Withholding (FRCGW).

This is a rule designed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to ensure that foreign property owners pay tax on any capital gains they make when selling property in Australia.

Under this rule the buyer (not the seller) may be required to withhold a portion of the purchase price and send it directly to the ATO.
