📞 OUR NUMBERS HAVE CHANGED! 📞

We’re excited to share that we’ve recently upgraded our phone system to improve the way we connect with our clients, referrers and contacts.

As part of this upgrade, our Statewide team members now have new direct telephone numbers, which follow the format: (07) 4881 05XX.

Good news — our main office number remains exactly the same: ☎️ (07) 4963 0800

To make the transition as smooth as possible, our previous direct numbers will continue to divert to the new numbers for a transition period.

The new system will provide improved functionality for our team and make it even easier to stay connected.

A big thank you to our clients for the beautiful gift recently received by our Commercial Property Team, Misty Di-Filippo and Kieralee Stollznow.

Misty and Kieralee assisted with the purchase of a large rural property in the Bowen Basin, which included due diligence investigations, multiple tenancies, agistment agreements and transfer of water rights. The matter involved extensive negotiations with the Sellers and careful attention to the transfer requirements, ultimately resulting in a successful purchase for the client.

We’re proud to have been able to assist with such an important transaction, and very appreciative of the kind gesture.

CELEBRATING 💯 YEARS OF CANEGROWERS MACKAY!

Misty Di Filippo, Commercial and Rural Lawyer, had a fantastic evening at the Canegrowers Mackay Centenary Gala on Thursday night, celebrating an incredible 100 years of the Canegrowers organisation supporting the sugar industry in our region.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the people, progress and dedication that have shaped the industry over the past century.

As part of a cane farming family herself and assisting many local farmers with their property transactions over the past 20 years, Misty especially appreciated the chance to recognise the significant role Canegrowers has played, and continues to play, in supporting local growers.

🚨 Real Estate Agents – AUSTRAC Enrolment Reminder 🚨

From 31 March, real estate agents across Australia will need to enrol with the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) as part of the new Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) reforms.

These changes are aimed at strengthening Australia’s response to financial crime and will introduce new compliance requirements for businesses involved in property transactions.
