⚠️ SCAM ALERT — Are You Being Targeted? ⚠️
Scammers are increasingly targeting law firms and their clients. We want to make sure YOU are protected. Please read and share.
Here are 5 tips to protect yourself:
🔴 1. WE WILL NEVER CHANGE OUR BANK DETAILS
Our account details have not changed in over 20 years — and we will never ask you to transfer money to a new account via email. If you ever receive a request like this, call us immediately. Do not act on it.
🔴 2. ALWAYS CALL TO VERIFY BEFORE YOU PAY
Before transferring any funds or acting on payment instructions, call our office directly on a number you already have saved. Do not use a number provided in a suspicious email.
🔴 3. DON'T CLICK LINKS YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING
If we are sending you a link or asking you to make a payment, we will tell you in advance — by phone or in person. If you receive a link out of the blue claiming to be from us, do not click it. Call us first.
🔴 4. IF SOMETHING FEELS OFF — STOP AND CALL US
Trust your instincts. If an email, message, or phone call seems unusual, uses urgent language, or doesn't quite make sense — stop. Don't respond. Don't click. Don't pay. Call us directly.
🔴 5. CONFIRM EVERYTHING THROUGH OFFICIAL CHANNELS
We only communicate through our official email addresses. If you receive correspondence from an address you don't recognise — even if it looks similar to ours — do not engage. Contact us directly to verify.
Stay safe, stay vigilant. When in doubt, pick up the phone. 📞
