Hello Everyone! I know I've been in hiding but I just thought if you are here liking my page then you will definately LOVE Joanne Alferink page. Go give her some love as she is actively creating this goodness and I think your support is important to keep talented ladies like this selling their pieces! Plus she's a fellow Sandgroper yeoowww !That's a term to describe a Western Australian LOL ! Not that I am anymore but I used to be!

Freshly grouted and still slightly hazy. I plan to experiment with some more male and female bluewren designs as I warm up in readiness to start a birdbath commission 😀

Seems like more than 4 years since I did this mosaic ! Wish I'd kept her 😀🙏

Well here she is - Enamour - Glass mosaic . Have just finished the last grout layer, it was interesting using the grout as shading in the facial area. I think I will use that technique more often as it ties the colours together to give a more blended finish....

I had to share this. I've started a shop and don't have any time to even think about mosaic, have been avoiding it in fact, but every now and then something inspires me and this is one piece that has tickled my fancy ! Made by Glimmer Glass Mosaics

I haven't been mosaicing, trying to get my Tonketti business off the ground but had to share these wonderful bird baths, so pretty !

Wow love this :)

Day 4 of the 5 day art challenge. I have chosen Curve as it is one of the pieces that actually looks how I imagined it would. It also did very well on a number of quilting pages, which got me the reputation of a quilting genius. Little do they know my sewing skills are somewhat lacking. I nominate my mate Mango Mosaics to the challenge as her work is fabulous and she is also very cool.
