🌱 SPRING PROPERTY CLEANUP TIME 🌱

With spring drying out and fire season approaching, I’m taking bookings for property cleanups and vegetation reduction. If you’d like me to have a look at your place and identify areas that could be tidied up before summer, let me know.

I got home from a job at midday, and all I was supposed to do today at home was trim back the lemon tree and treat the gall wasps.

Instead I somehow ended up attacking every palm tree in the yard 😂

Two hours later I was left with a trailer full of palm leaves and a lemon tree that still hadn’t been touched.

I finally got around to the “15-minute job” of cutting the lemon tree, only to then spend the next couple of hours burning the entire trailer load of palm leaves.

I actually hate palm trees so much.

There is just ONE thing I don’t like about my job 👀

I’ve been bitten by easily over 100 ticks since working in conservation - even just around my own property. The worst reaction I had was 2 years ago from a paralysis tick on my thigh, I also had 4 ticks on my head that day. I ended up suffering from tick anaphylaxis, but typical Sam refused to go to hospital. It took months for my joints to recover from pain.

I take precautions now but even still, the little buggers still sneak their way in.
