From 1 July 2026, important changes to Australia’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) laws will come into effect, extending obligations to conveyancing firms and other professional service providers.

As part of these new requirements, clients may be asked to provide additional identification documents and information to verify the source of funds used in property transactions.

These changes are designed to strengthen the integrity of Australia’s property market and help combat financial crime.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement these updated compliance measures to continue providing a secure and professional service for all clients.
