Today marks 50 years of serving our clients, community, and profession.

Since opening our doors in 1976, we have had the privilege of supporting generations of clients through life’s important moments and challenges. Reaching this milestone is a testament to the trust placed in us over the past five decades, and to the dedication of our incredible team past and present.

To celebrate the occasion, our team gathered together in the office this morning to enjoy a special β€œbirthday cake” and celebrate.

Meet Jaymie!

Jaymie joined WWW in January this year as an Administration Assistant, bringing with her a strong background in Real Estate Administration and Property Management. Since joining the firm, Jaymie has very quickly become an integral part of our team, providing support not only front of house, but right across the firm.

With her experience and industry knowledge, Jaymie is now transitioning into our Conveyancing & Property Department - an exciting next step in what we know will be a very bright future at WWW.

There are rare opportunities for law firms to unshackle themselves from job titles, hierarchies and siloed practice areas and simply come together as one team - but recently, that opportunity arose when Wallace Wilkinson Webster competed in the Converge Move Challenge.

🌏 One Global Move Challenge
πŸ† 35 competing organisations

For four weeks, we walked, ran and exercised far more than usual - not just for glory (although maybe a little), but because no one wanted to let the team down. Some overachievers even smashed 35,000 steps in a single day… and we’re still recovering.

The end result?
πŸ₯‰ 4th place globally - narrowly pipped by the Essendon Football Club. We’ll take that.

Most importantly, the challenge brought our team together in a way that day-to-day work rarely allows. We celebrated the end of the challenge with cocktails, mocktails, individual and team awards, and a well-earned chance to reflect on an incredible effort by everyone involved.

A huge congratulations to our WWW team for embracing the challenge, supporting one another and proving that teamwork extends well beyond the office.

Last night, WWW hosted the Tasmania University Law Society - TULS β€˜End of Semester BBQ’ at the DSS. With exams around the corner, students were able to have a few hours of relaxation with chats by the fire pit and some snags and drinks provided by the WWW team.

Thank you to the Derwent Sailing Squadron for helping make this event another success, and best of luck to all law students as they prepare for their upcoming exams!
