One of the best parts of our job is supporting our tenants beyond just handing over keys.

Today, we assisted a generous tenant who was preparing to move but wasn’t sure where they could donate unopened, non-perishable food they couldn’t take with them. Instead of seeing it go to waste, we helped them donate it to the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre Bless Box, where it can support people in our local community.

It’s a simple reminder that moving house is a great opportunity to give back.

If you have unopened, non-perishable pantry items that you can’t relocate, consider donating them to a local community pantry or Bless Box. A small act of kindness can make a big difference to someone doing it tough.
