Do you know what would happen to your children if something happened to you?

When planning your Will, it is important to think about more than just your assets. For parents, one of the most important considerations is who would care for their children if they were no longer around.

A properly prepared Will allows you to nominate a guardian and make your wishes clear, helping to provide certainty and guidance for your family during a difficult time.

Planning a Will is especially important when you have young children.

A properly prepared Will can help make your wishes clear about who should care for your children if both parents pass away, who should manage your estate, and how your children’s inheritance should be protected until they are older.

It can also include practical arrangements for your pets, including who should care for them and how their ongoing needs may be supported.

Our latest OneStop Legal blog explains key issues parents should consider when planning their Will, including guardianship, executors, trustees, children’s inheritance and fur babies.

Plan ahead. Protect your children. Support the people and pets you love.

SettleX. Digital conveyancing. Settlement support for modern law firms.

Settlement administration should not slow your firm down.

For property lawyers and conveyancers, every settlement involves careful coordination — PEXA workspaces, documents, signing, stamping, payment directions, adjustments, settlement statements, stakeholder communication, and final authority.

Our latest blog introduces **SettleX by OneStop Legal** — a secure digital settlement workspace designed to help law firms and conveyancers manage settlement administration with clearer visibility, better workflow structure, and practical support from start to finish.

SettleX assists firms with repetitive settlement administration while keeping the firm in control of each matter.

Buying or selling property in Queensland? Don’t leave the contract until the last minute.

At OneStop Legal, we assist with fixed-fee conveyancing for buyers and sellers across Queensland.

Before signing a contract, it is important to have the terms reviewed so you understand your rights, obligations, finance dates, special conditions, settlement date, disclosure documents and any risks that may cause delay.

For Queensland sellers, the new seller disclosure requirements mean disclosure documents must be prepared and provided before the buyer signs the contract. Getting this wrong can create unnecessary risk, delay, or complications later in the transaction.

Settlement delays can also occur on the day of settlement. Under standard REIQ contracts, either party may be able to extend settlement by up to 5 business days, which can affect moving plans, finance, removalists and related settlements.

OneStop Legal Conveyancing
Buying from $750 inc GST
Selling from $595 inc GST

Additional fees may apply.
