🚨 MAJOR UPDATE FOR TASMANIAN FIRST HOME BUYERS 🚨

The 2026–2027 State Budget has introduced critical changes to first home incentives that could affect your budget and buying timelines:

📉 First Home Owner Grant (New Builds): Decreasing from $30,000 to $20,000 starting Wednesday, 1st July 2026.

🛑 Stamp Duty Concession (Established Homes): Completely expiring on Tuesday, 30th June 2026. Any transaction settling on or after 1st July will not be eligible.

⚠️ Crucial Tip: Concession eligibility is determined by your settlement date, not the date you sign the contract.

If you are currently under contract or looking to buy before July, we urgently advise you to speak with your Broker and Conveyancer to ensure your logistics line up.
