Meet the team | Tom Galton

With more than a decade of experience, Tom specialises in family law, guiding clients through complex parenting, property and divorce matters with clarity, diligence and care. He also brings experience in criminal law, estate planning, deceased estates, and advising on lending arrangements, which helps him support families through the interconnected legal issues that often come with major life changes.

Tom started in 2011 as a legal secretary and paralegal before being admitted as a solicitor in 2014. That hands-on grounding shapes the calm, practical guidance he gives every client.

Away from work, you’ll find Tom chasing waves and spending time with his family.

Meet the team | Sienna Murray

Sienna began working in the legal profession early in her university studies, driven by a desire to help people through life's most difficult moments. She's now balancing a double degree in Law (Honours) and Commerce with her role as Legal Secretary and Justice of the Peace, already bringing valuable experience to the team.

Growing up as one of five children, Sienna credits her large family with instilling a deep appreciation for human connection and helping others. Outside of work, you'll find her staying active, at the beach, or catching up with friends and family.

Our Solicitor Director, Michael Seton, took out Outstanding Business Leader (20 Employees and Under), and Seton Family Lawyers was Highly Commended in Employer of Choice (20 Employees and Under) – our third year in a row being recognised in the category.

On 3 September, our team attended the Central Coast Law Society's President's Dinner, held at Swells Terrigal with stunning ocean front views.

It was an evening to sit down to a beautiful three-course dinner alongside honourable guests Ronan MacSweeney, President of The Law Society of NSW, and Jacqueline Dawson, Senior Vice President of The Law Society of NSW.

Evenings like this matter to us. They're a chance to connect with our peers, hear from leaders shaping the future of our profession, and celebrate the work of our local legal community.

Seton Family Lawyers was proud to be a Platinum Sponsor at Central Coast Grammar School Spring Fair on Saturday.

It was a huge day for the Central Coast community - amusement rides, food trucks, a Wildlife Zone, and hundreds of families out enjoying the sunshine. Our team had a marquee set up on the day, handing out complementary caps and sunscreen to keep everyone protected (over 300 caps gone by the end of the day - clearly we picked the right giveaway for a Spring Fair!).

We also had plenty of conversations about estate planning, and it was genuinely rewarding to see how many people took the time to grab a brochure and ask questions. It's a reminder of something we believe strongly: legal advice shouldn't feel distant or intimidating. Sometimes the most valuable conversations happen right there in the community.

Thank you to Central Coast Grammar School for having us as part of such a fantastic community event, and everyone who stopped by our marquee for a chat.

Continuing our commitment to growth and education, three of our team members - Jasmine, Dominique and Tanya - spent 27–29 August at the Hunter Valley Family Law Conference, presented by the Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association.

The calibre of speakers was exceptional, bringing together judicial officers, barristers and forensic accounting specialists to unpack the issues shaping family law practice right now:

From judicial perspectives on current matters, to case-focused sessions from the bar and forensic accounting insights, our team came away with a genuinely rounded view of where family law practice is heading.

For us, continuing to invest in growth and education isn't optional, it's how we ensure every client who places their trust in us receives advice that's considered, strategic and grounded in exactly what's happening in the courts today.
