A motorcycle accident that took place on Nerang-Broadbeach Road and Nielsens Road Exit, in Carrara, Queensland.
On Sunday, 2 November 2025.
At approximately 7:22pm.
The rider of a White 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 650 motorcycle was riding his motorcycle, and was accompanied with his partner, who was a pillion passenger, along Nerang-Broadbeach Road and Nielsens Road Exit, in Carrara, when an unidentified vehicle, possibly a White BMW SUV, has turned across from lane 2, colliding with the front of the rider’s motorcycle in lane 1.
The rider of the motorcycle and the pillion passenger subsequently came off his motorcycle and landed heavily on the ground.
Both the rider and pillion passenger sustained personal injuries and were assessed before being transported to Gold Coast University Hospital.
The unknown vehicle has then decamped west bound on Nielsens Road without stopping.
The driver of the unidentified vehicle did not stop and left the scene of the accident.
