We are pleased to introduce Alyssa Clarkson, who has recently joined the McConnell & Saldumbide Criminal Lawyers team as our receptionist.

Alyssa is currently in her fourth year of a dual degree in Laws and Criminology and Criminal Justice at ACU and brings a strong interest in the legal profession and criminal justice system to her role.

As the first point of contact for many of our clients, Alyssa plays an important role in the day-to-day operation of the firm, assisting with appointments, client enquiries, and valuable administrative support to our legal team. She is approachable, professional, and committed to ensuring clients feel supported from their very first interaction with our office.

We are pleased to welcome Daniel Gilbert to McConnell & Saldumbide Criminal Lawyers as a solicitor.

Daniel was admitted in Queensland in May 2025 and brings several years of practical experience working within law practices prior to admission. He has developed strong skills in legal research, drafting, court preparation and advocacy, and has assisted in matters involving serious allegations, including violence and drug-related offending.

In addition to his general criminal defence work, Daniel has experience assisting clients with fi****ms licensing appeals, including decisions to refuse, suspend or cancel licences. He brings a practical and measured approach to what can often be a complex area of law.

Daniel will be working closely with the firm’s directors across a range of criminal and related matters, and is committed to delivering clear advice, strong support and quality representation to each client.
