Upper Hunter to the Northern Beaches… just another day at the office!

On Friday I headed down to the Northern Beaches to meet with a client because when it comes to looking after my clients, I believe in being there — anytime, anywhere, wherever I'm needed. ⚖️

And along the way, I found a pretty nice spot and thought… I could get used to this office!

I like the idea that my office is wherever i'm needed. Whether that’s in the Upper Hunter, on the Northern Beaches, or somewhere in between. I'm happy to make the trip.

Although, if all client meetings come with an afternoon at the beach like this, I might need to rethink the definition of “office”!

Blackhall Legal's office looked a little different this week.

On Wednesday, I was working from the sidelines in Sydney, supporting my daughter at the u14s School Girls State Football Titles — and celebrating a State Championship win! 🏆🏉

Then on Friday, the office relocated to the Quirindi Show, where i swapped the desk for the show ring to support my daughter in school steer handling. 🐄🤎

This week there may have been more cheering, a little more dust, and four-legged colleagues than usual! 😂But while the location changed, the legal work continued.

Technology means a modern regional law firm doesn’t have to operate solely from behind a desk. With the right systems and technology, Blackhall Legal can continue to stay connected with our clients and our team wherever we are — across the Upper Hunter, throughout the Hunter and across NSW.

This week meant emails answered, calls taken, deadlines met, advice provided and exchange completed — all while I was present for some very important family moments.

Because being flexible doesn’t mean our clients come second.

I wanted to build a business that works with my life, not against it.

A business that allows me to work hard, support our clients and build something that i'm incredibly proud of, while still being there for my family and connected to the community I call home.

And that philosophy is at the heart of Blackhall Legal.

15 years ago today I signed the Roll and was admitted as a Lawyer. I don’t think at that point in time I considered that I would be the Principal of my own law firm one day, but here I am. I’m extremely grateful for the colleagues that ive worked with over the years and proud of the career that ive had so far which has been extremely rewarding at times and has led me to where I am today.
