This week we introduce our Family Law Solicitor, Courtney Page.

# What inspired you to pursue a career in law?

I had a desire to assist families through difficult situations, such as disputes over the care of children, property settlements and family violence. The ability to help individuals navigate emotionally charged issues is fulfilling.

# If you could give one piece of legal advice to everyone, what would it be?

Maintain clear and respectful communication with the other party. Whether you’re going through a parenting dispute or property settlement, keeping communication civil can help prevent escalating conflicts and can also be viewed favourably by the court if needed.

# What’s your favourite way to unwind after a long day?
A good TV show. Currently I am watching Yellow Jackets and The Resident.

# What’s your go-to comfort food?

Homemade lasagna made by my mum.

# What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

I was an apprentice hairdresser for a year before I realised that I hated touching other people’s hair and then went on to get a Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
