Who's speaking up for the real estate industry?

Decisions made nationally can have a very real impact on the Northern Territory.

From housing affordability and supply to government policy and industry regulation, these conversations influence the environment our members work in every day.

That's why industry advocacy matters.

The REIA represents real estate interests at a national level, while REINT brings a Territory perspective, advocating for our industry and supporting the professionals who work within it.

We recently welcomed REIA President Jacob Caine to Darwin for The Housing & Real Estate Conversation, giving members an opportunity to hear the national perspective and contribute their own.

A stronger industry starts with a stronger collective voice.

๐Ÿ˜๏ธ Housing supply. Why should real estate professionals be paying attention?

Housing supply is about more than the number of properties being built.

It's about having the right homes, in the right locations, to meet the needs of our growing and changing communities.

For the Northern Territory, conversations around housing availability, population, infrastructure and rental demand are important to the future of our property market.

And for agents and property managers, understanding these factors helps provide better context when speaking with buyers, sellers, landlords and investors.

As REINT continues to contribute to housing conversations at both a Territory and national level, we're encouraging our members to stay informed and engaged.

Because understanding the bigger picture helps us better serve our local communities.
