Dusty, grandson of Warren/Trangie Branch Manager Fred Langby, is taking on an incredible challenge to raise funds for Little Wings, a not-for-profit organisation that provides free air and ground transport for seriously ill children living in rural and regional NSW, QLD and the ACT. Little Wings also helps bring medical specialists to regional communities, making it easier for country families to access vital healthcare closer to home.
Starting on 30 August, 11-year-old Dusty, accompanied by his mum Sarah and three supporters, will walk 540 kilometres from Warren to Canberra, arriving on 14 September, with the goal of raising $1 million for Little Wings. It’s an inspiring effort that reflects the strength, resilience and generosity of our regional communities, and we’d love to see the Elders network get behind Dusty and his team.
How you can help:
• Make a donation to support Dusty’s fundraising campaign via the link: https://www.givenow.com.au/dollar-for-dusty
• Share Dusty’s fundraising story with your local branch network.
• Post the campaign flyer on your branch page to help spread the word and encourage support. The attached flyer can be shared directly to your branch page.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help Little Wings continue providing essential services to families who need them most.
