Cutting back vegetation between fence lines helps prevent damage to fences and walls, it stops rubbing and leave litter filling up gutters. This job had a fair bit of ivy through it that had started to work it way into the brickwork and had invaded the property next door. Stage one was get rid of all of that, I’ll be back at a later date to poison any re growth.
