Vic and Sarah had a special visitor join them for a conference today, the gorgeous Meli brought in by one of our treasured clients. Vic was besotted by the friendly girl and after giving her lots of affection he ended up with lots of golden hair on his navy suit.

Our Firm Principal, Vic Rajah presented a keynote address at today’s Oakleigh Grammar Business Breakfast alongside the founder and CEO of RSEA Safety, Brandon Chizik, Australasia’s leading retailer of all things safety and former St Kilda Football Star and organisational culture guru, Justin Peckett, the Managing Director of Leading Teams. Vic is the founder and Convenor of the Oakleigh Grammar Business Network and we were a proud sponsor of today’s event. Vic gave a powerful presentation referencing the importance of integrity in the way we should conduct ourselves in life and in business … His favourite heros, Superman, Obi Wan Kenobi and He Man even rated a mention!

We are proud to welcome Claudia Brophy-Odgers to the team at Vic Rajah Family & Estate Lawyers where she works as a Law Clerk in the Family Law team. Claudia is currently in the final year of a Juris Doctor degree at La Trobe University which she will complete in November 2026.

With an extensive employment history in social work, Claudia has assisted many clients and families navigate a range of challenges including mental and physical health concerns, family violence, housing insecurity, drug and alcohol addictions and engagement with the criminal justice system.

Awarded the 2023 Law School Dean’s Prize for achieving the highest grade in Australian Family Law and the 2024 and 2025 Law School Dean’s Prize for achieving the highest grade in both Legal Internship subjects, Claudia has strong academic credentials. She also brings compassion and an empathetic approach to family law clients as she is skilled in assisting people who have experienced conflict, grief, uncertainty, and major changes to family relationships.

Outside of work Claudia enjoys running having completed multiple half marathons and charitable runs and spending time with her two young children. She is also actively involved in her community volunteering at local events.

We recently welcomed Cooper Denton to the team at Vic Rajah Family & Estate Lawyers where he is working as a Family Lawyer. A Mornington Peninsula local, Cooper attended the Peninsula School and was a Prefect in his VCE year. As a keen sportsman, Cooper has a longstanding involvement with Mt Eliza Junior Football Club and Old Peninsula Football Club both as a player and member. He has also worked as a basketball referee in the Frankston Basketball Association.

Reflecting his strong commitment to justice and disability inclusion, Cooper has worked as an NDIS Carer since 2023. He takes great pride in assisting his clients to develop life skills, social skills and independence - attributes which will serve him well for a long career in family law.

Yesterday our Law Clerks, Tahlia Corbin and Chloe Daniels were admitted to legal practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Firm Principal, Vic Rajah moved Chloe’s admission and Special Counsel, Helen Roach moved Tahlia’s admission in a lovely ceremony in the Banco Court. We wish Tahlia and Chloe all the best for a bright future ahead. Tahlia will embark on her career with our firm as a Wills and Estates Lawyer and Chloe will take some time out as she plans her desired vocational path.
