𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎

As we roll into the year 2020, it is imperative that the full date is written when dating a document or cheque.

We must be careful to ensure that all documents or cheques are dated with the year written in full: i.e. 06/01/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎.
If a document is dated 06/01/𝟐𝟎 the year can be changed to 06/01/2000 (back dating) through to 06/01/2099 (forward-dating) by adding the final two numbers of the proposed year.

This could render the document or cheque invalid or expose the document to fraud.

Hi folks,

Just letting you know that our Informed office will remain in Canungra.

Les Preston, our wonderful solicitor, will take over the practice on 1 January.

Please stop in and say G'day after the office opens on 6 January.

All the staff remain the same.

Also, we can now offer two JPs for most things. Please call ahead to make an appointment.

Dear valued clients,

We advise that our offices will re-open following the Christmas break on Monday, 6 January.

At that time, Mr. Les Preston will become the Principal Solicitor of Informed Legal.

All staff arrangements remain the same and our office will remain in Canungra. We thank the people of the Scenic Rim, Logan District and Gold Coast for their continued support of the practice.
