We are a small vinyl record store operating within Dirty Jane's Canberra. We specialise in original

Johnny The Fox Records sells good quality vinyl records, covering mostly rock and pop, metal, jazz, funk, soul, soundtracks and compilations. We also have quite a few 45's, and a small selection of CD's and books.

Dear valued customers and fellow vinyl addicts,

Sadly after five amazing years of vinyl record trading to the Canberra public, Johnny The Fox Records will be leaving Dirty Jane's Fyshwick on Thursday 17th April.

I have had a blast getting to know customers old and new, and will miss having my little shop inside the coolest vintage shop in town.

If you have time to get to Dirty Jane's before the 17th, I will be selling all records/items at 50% off the marked price. Come in and find yourself a bargain before they're all gone!

Screaming Jets: All For One (1991)

All For One was one of the best debut hard rock releases of the 90's. The boys from Newcastle Australia produced an almost flawless album, high energy hard rock that set the stage for their long and successful career.

Van Halen: Diver Down (1982)

The U.S. hard rock/metal legends' fifth studio album was a tongue-in-cheek, genre bending, experimental, cover heavy assault. Recorded in just 12 days, it can be viewed as somewhat of an oddity, sitting as it is between the tough and street savvy Fair Warning, and the over the top, cock-rocking brilliance of 1984.

Diver Down wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but to die hard fans this was Van Halen simply letting their hair down and having fun.

A veritable bounty of collectible vinyl arriving in store from Monday, including The Saints iconic debut album 'I'm Stranded'.

A blistering, scorching, heavy and buzzing racket of a record, it cemented The Saints place as the godfathers of Aussie punk rock, and would have a major influence on the development of the harder music that followed in terms of pushing boundaries.

A rare first Australian pressing from 1977 will be in store from Monday!
