Tom Taylor has called out the outrageous conduct of "vigilante enforcer" police in national news. His client's charges were dismissed after the ACT Magistrates Court found NSW Police unlawfully arrested his client and threatened to "break his legs" when outside their jurisdiction in the ACT.

An ACT magistrate throws out a case against a man found to be unlawfully arrested and slams the conduct of NSW Police officers as "outrageous" and "unprofessional".

We couldn't be more proud of our newly appointed Lawyer, Sinead Allen, for her work in developing our Women's Pro Bono Parole Program. A program designed to provide pro bono legal representation to female detainees - one of our most vulnerable groups - in the AMC seeking parole.

We'd also like to extend a huge thank you to Lucy from The Canberra Times for covering her story! Read all about it below.

For inmates seeking parole facing the sentence administration board is a daunting prospect, even more so if you have to do it alone.

Children as young as ten can be remanded in custody, found guilty of a criminal offence and sentenced to a term of imprisonment in Australia.

This week, state and federal attorney-generals will meet to discuss raising the age to at least 14 years. Read our thoughts on the matter on the blog this evening.

Adrian McKenna has recently shared his views to the ABC on the Critical Incident Report released by the Inspector of Correctional Services into the serious assault of his client in custody.

It took security 45 minutes to find David Laipato after he was stabbed in the head and neck, and his family and the Corrections Minister want to know why. Warning: This story contains graphic images.
