Adero Law Principal Lawyer Andrew Chakrabarty has been quoted in The Canberra Times in relation to concerns raised by buyers over apartment contracts at The Markets Residences in Belconnen.

Several buyers have approached Adero Law seeking advice regarding their contracts and potential rescission notices.

Buyers say they were misled about the number of bedrooms.

As featured in Region Canberra, off-the-plan apartment buyers have raised serious concerns regarding property disclosures and the classification of rooms marketed as beds in 'Belconnen Markets'.

The Federal Court has approved the $18.1 million settlement in the Sydney Trains Class Action, marking a significant milestone in proceedings led by Adero Law.

The Court's approval brings to a close years of complex Employment Law and Class Action litigation concerning workplace underpayments, employee entitlements and industrial relations issues affecting Sydney Trains operations employees.

The settlement represents an important outcome for group members and highlights the role of representative proceedings in resolving complex workplace disputes through the Federal Court.
