A Tropical Low has formed in the Coral Sea and will slowly approach the North Queensland coast over the next few days. According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Tropical Low (12U) is expected to bring heavy rainfall and potentially damaging winds to various parts of region during Friday and Saturday.
We are no strangers to severe weather in the Far North, so it's important to stay informed. Even Lows that don't form into Tropical Cyclones can still cause considerable damage to property, particularly where there is prolonged heavy rainfall. So, we encourage you to be prepared - but not panicked, and take practical steps now to safeguard your property.โฌ๏ธ
