🎉 Celebrating Lyndsay! 🎉

A big congratulations to Lyndsay, who has now reached the halfway mark of her traineeship with Bupa Australia Aged Care.

Since starting her traineeship, Lyndsay has shown great commitment to her role and continues to build her skills and confidence within the aged care environment. Her hard work and positive attitude have been recognised by the team at the home, recently being named Team Member of the Month for February!

Alongside her workplace achievements, Lyndsay has also been progressing strongly through her training modules and recently achieved another important milestone - successfully obtaining her P1 driver licence, which is a fantastic step in building independence and future opportunities.

Lyndsay has been supported throughout her journey by the Bupa Cairns team, as well as Danielle and Tyshaya from ATW, who continue to mentor her through her traineeship.

We also acknowledge the support of On Common Country’s ISEP program, with driving lessons delivered through Keara at ATW's Which Way Driving School.

Well done Lyndsay. We’re proud to see the progress you’re making and look forward to seeing what the second half of your traineeship brings.

The Rebuild Project is back for 2026 and we’re hungry and in need for equipment that is!

We have assessed and rebuilt the first round of donated equipment (mowers, edgers, blowers etc) and need a resupply.

If you have whole equipment that needs some TLC and rebuilding, we will bust out some happy dance-moves when you send it to The Rebuild Project.

The Rebuild Project is ATW’s community program helping at-risk youth (15-17). The Project partners with the participants to gain work skills by repairing small motors and appliances, foster employment pathways, build practical skills and community engagement. Be involved.
