Who would have thought that probate (that is dealing with deceased estates) could be so interesting! So many forms...

The lesson out of all this is don't die without a will - all you end up doing is paying more money out of your estate to lawyers.

This morning when I was at a coffee shop (fetching coffee for Meghan Hopper) I overheard the two staff talking about how they were being underpaid and didn't get their super.

I offered to help them (pro bono of course) because they had no idea where to start.

If you know of anyone getting ripped off in the hospitality sector please put them in touch with me - I'll put them on the right path (and then encourage them to join a union so it doesn't happen again).

I figure the karma gods will send me paying clients in return!

Fixed prices for the following matters:
- single person will $350 (yes this includes trusts)
- will for a couple is $450 (yes this includes complex family arrangements)
- Power of Attorney (financial or medical) $50 each.
- conveyancing - for buyer or seller $700 (plus disbursements)

The above prices are valid until 1 February 2017.

Other services available on a fixed fee basis - just ask.

Some things I have learned in the past 2 weeks:
