Every day we’re juggling so much.
Work. The house. Messages. Commitments. Expectations.
It can feel relentless.

The glass vs rubber ball metaphor suggests that not every ball we’re holding is the same.

The rubber balls can drop.
The unanswered email.
The laundry that waits.
The plans you reschedule.
They bounce. They recover. They’re forgiving.

But some are glass.
And those are sacred.
Fully present chats.
Slow mornings.
Joy and gratitude.
Quiet moments.

The ordinary days that don’t look big at the time, but one day you realise they were everything.

Glass doesn’t bounce.
It breaks.
Perhaps success isn’t about keeping every ball in the air perfectly.

It’s about knowing which ones you can let fall… and which ones you need to protect.

Because in the end, it won’t be the perfectly managed schedule that defines our life. It’ll be the moments we chose to guard.
Guard the glass.
Let the rubber bounce.

Most people think cults are rare, extreme, and obvious. But researchers increasingly suggest something different: cult dynamics exist on a spectrum.

They can appear anywhere humans gather around purpose, belief, identity, or leadership — including companies, wellness communities, political movements, spiritual groups, startups, and social movements.

So instead of asking: “Is this a cult?” - A more useful question might be: Where does this group sit on the cultiness spectrum?

This becomes especially important for organisations that describe themselves as:
• purpose-driven
• values-led
• transformational
• community-centred
• mission-oriented

Because another way of describing “cultiness” might be:

How coherently do your systems, processes and power structures reflect the values you claim?

Healthy cultures don’t avoid this question.

They design governance, transparency and open enquiry so belonging never overrides autonomy.

Every community has some level of cultiness.

The real question is:
How consciously do we manage it?

Uncertainty doesn’t always need answers.

Sometimes it just needs space.

When we stop pushing for certainty, the body settles and clarity often follows.

When did I last take a path involving a risk?
Growth means change and change involves risk, from the known to unknown x
