Tonight's the night, Dolphins fans! ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿ‰

As proud Legal Practice Partner of the Dolphins NRL, everyone at Gnech and Associates is behind the team as they take on the Roosters at Suncorp Stadium.

The Dolphins have already shown tremendous character, resilience and determination throughout this winning streak, and tonight they have the opportunity to make history by securing six consecutive victories for the first time in the club's NRL history.

With the business end of the season approaching, every win is crucial as we continue our push towards what would be the club's first-ever finals berth. The opportunity is there, and the team has put itself in a strong position to make history on more than one front.

We wish Kristian Woolf, the coaching staff and all players the very best as they chase another important two competition points in front of the home crowd.

Let's fill Suncorp with energy, get behind the Dolphins, and continue the journey towards a historic first finals berth!

Last week, Gnech and Associates was proud to continue its longstanding partnership with the Queensland Police Union Of Employees (QPUE) as the major sponsor of the 2026 QPUE Council.

We greatly value our long standing relationship with the QPUE and the vital role it plays in representing and supporting police officers throughout Queensland. Police officers regularly encounter complex and challenging situations in the course of their duties and, like all members of the community, can also face legal issues in their personal lives. It is a privilege for our team to assist many QPUE members as they navigate these challenges and seek practical legal solutions.

We extend our sincere thanks to QPUE President Shane Prior - QPUE General President and his executive team for their ongoing support, leadership and unwavering commitment to the welfare and representation of Queensland police officers.

At Gnech and Associates, we remain committed to supporting those who serve our communities and to maintaining the strong relationships we have built with Queensland's policing family.

As proud Legal Practice Partners of the Dolphins NRL the team at Gnech and Associates are excited for Magic Round 2026 as the Dolphins take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium.

There may be plenty of โ€œchargesโ€ on the field this weekend โ€” but thankfully ours usually involve legal paperwork rather than line breaks through the middle.

At Gnech and Associates, we appreciate the similarities between rugby league and the legal profession:

discipline under pressure,
teamwork,
preparation,
and knowing when to mount a strong defence.

Magic Round always delivers big moments, passionate supporters, and plenty of debate, not unlike a busy day in court.

Fortunately for the Dolphins, the only thing tougher than their defence this season is the scrutiny of the Bunker.

We wish the Dolphins the very best tonight and thank the club for continuing to build such a strong connection between sport, community, and professionalism.

Bring on Magic Round 2026. ๐Ÿฌโš–๏ธ๐Ÿ‰

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฌ We are proud to have partnered with the Dolphins NRL for last weekโ€™s Gnech and Associates Lawyers Round at Suncorp Stadium, helping raise $10,000 for Queensland Police Legacy.

With $1,000 donated for every Dolphins NRL try scored against the Bulldogs, the teamโ€™s incredible eight-try performance helped drive an amazing result for a cause that provides vital support to police families and officers across Queensland.

A huge thank you to the Dolphins, Queensland Police Legacy, and everyone who supported the initiative on the night. Weโ€™re honoured to contribute to such an important organisation and help make a positive impact beyond the game ๐Ÿ’™.

Last night was a spectacular evening of football, community and connection - topped off with a great win for the Dolphins NRL.

Gnech and Associates are proud to have been legal practice partners of the Dolphins since the clubโ€™s inception in 2023.

Last year, we approached the Dolphins with the idea of uniting policing and rugby league to support an incredible cause. Without hesitation, the club embraced the concept, and last nightโ€™s Dolphins v Bulldogs match marked the second annual Gnech and Associates Legacy Game.

Queensland Police Legacy provides unimaginable support, stability and care to Police Legacy children and families during the most difficult times of their lives. Through our $1,000 per Dolphins try initiative, we were honoured to again contribute to this important organisation, while also sharing the evening with some truly wonderful young people and their families.

We also had the pleasure of hosting Commissioner Brett Pointing, a passionate supporter of Police Legacy - and now, no doubt, the Dolphins as well.

A sincere thank you to the Dolphins, Police Legacy, and everyone involved in making the night such a success.

Community matters. Connection matters. And together, sport can make a real difference.

Discrimination is addressed under Queensland law, but these matters are often more complex than they first appear.

Issues such as unfair treatment, harassment, or policies that disadvantage certain groups may give rise to legal claims or require a formal response from individuals or organisations.

In this article, Legal Practice Director Mr. Calvin Gnech explains how anti-discrimination matters are assessed, the process for making or responding to a complaint, and the outcomes that may follow under Queensland law.
