💛 Farewell & best wishes, Sabrina 💛

This week we farewell Sabrina Korva, Senior Associate at KLM Solicitors, as she steps into an exciting new chapter pursuing her mediation practice full time.

Sabrina joined KLM in October 2022 as part of our Family Law team and has been a valued member of the firm ever since. Throughout her time with us, she has supported clients through complex and sensitive family law matters, including domestic violence matters, with care, creativity and a strong focus on helping people feel comfortable during challenging times.

Her passion for problem-solving and helping families resolve disputes with dignity, respect and a focus on the future has always been clear — and we’re proud to see her now taking that next step through Korva Mediation Group.

Sabrina, thank you for everything you have contributed to KLM. You will be missed, and we wish you every success in this next chapter.

Today, Morgan Sargent was admitted as a solicitor — an incredible milestone and one we are so proud to celebrate.

Morgan joined KLM as a Law Clerk, graduated with her Bachelor of Laws last year, stepped into her role as Law Graduate, and has now officially reached this exciting next chapter in her legal career.

🌸 Wishing Amahlia All the Best!

Today we’re sending lots of love to Amahlia as she heads off on maternity leave.

At 38 weeks, her baby girl could arrive any day now, and we couldn’t be more excited for her as she begins this beautiful new chapter. 💕

Today, we acknowledge Mother’s Day — a day that can hold many different meanings.

We recognise the mothers, step-mothers, carers and mother figures who show up with love, strength and care. We also acknowledge those for whom today may feel complex — whether due to separation, distance, loss, or change.

At KLM Solicitors, we see firsthand how deeply family relationships matter. Our work is guided by compassion, respect and an understanding that no two family journeys are the same.

Domestic and family violence continues to impact far too many individuals, families and communities across Queensland and Australia.

Tonight, we pause to acknowledge the lives lost, the victim survivors who continue to show extraordinary strength, and the families forever changed by violence in what should be the safest place, the home.

Behind every statistic is a person who was deeply loved, valued and deserving of safety, dignity and peace.

Domestic and family violence is not always visible. Abuse can take many forms, including coercive control, emotional abuse, intimidation, financial abuse and isolation long before physical violence occurs.

As businesses, professionals and community members, we all have a role to play in listening without judgement, supporting victim survivors, challenging harmful behaviours, and continuing conversations around prevention and education.

Tonight’s candlelight serves as a quiet but powerful reminder that every life matters, every story matters, and no one should ever have to live in fear.

To all victim survivors, we see you, we believe you, and you are not alone. 🕯️
