We don't comment here as much as we should. Mainly because we're too busy working hard for our clients to get positive outcomes.

However this one is special. This client came to us in January 2021. At that point they'd been in Australia over 6 years jumping from temporary visa to temporary visa.

After being laid off by their most recent employer they were at risk of having their visa cancelled. We worked with them to keep them lawfully in Australia over a 5 month period during COVID when they made arrangements with a new employer.

We spent 9 months battling the skills assessment authority who made a series of terrible decisions. In January this year we lodged a permanent 186 visa application.

We are stoked to say that today it has been granted and a client who first came to us 1294 days ago with pathway to permanent residency is today officially a permanent resident!!!

Ahhh man this was good phone call to make! Yes visa grants/solving problems are what we do (& we get lots). But this one was special, we’d lodged a decision ready application & nomination all the way back in Nov 2019. After a long wait, expired medicals & COVID today I finally had the pleasure of giving this lovely couple the great news! What a wonderful outcome! Congratulations to our newest Permanent Residents & thank you for the opportunity to work with you! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Interesting article to read, it’s always important to get the right advice. Quite often (nearly always) the media report Immigration matters based on emotion & not fact. Immigration is law, there is simply no way around it.

A special visa has a 50-year processing time that allows immigrants to stay in Australia while they wait - but without the luxuries of Australian citizens.
