Minister Alex Hawke has released a statement outlining new changes to the subclass 188b and subclass 188c visa programs.

Interestingly the subclass 188b visa investment requirement will increase to $2.5M and the investment must now be made into complying funds similar to the subclass 188c visa.

The complying investment requirements have also changed for both visa subclasses.

REMINDER:

On 1 July 2021 new changes will be implemented to the Business and Investor Visa program.

These changes will see the program reduce in visa streams and increase in certain threshold requirements. The program will also be given greater priority, which is an exciting prospect for potential business and investor visa migrants.
