Temporary Restrictions for Iranian Visitor Visa Holders (Subclass 600):

From 26 March 2026, Australia has introduced temporary restrictions on Iranian visitor visa holders (Subclass 600), preventing visitors outside the country from entering, even if their visa has already been granted. The measure will remain in place for up to 6 months and aims to protect the integrity of Australia’s migration system. Exceptions apply to immediate family members of Australian citizens or permanent residents and individuals granted special permission, while Iranian nationals already in Australia are not affected.

Important Information:

- Most Visitor Visa Holders (Subclass 600) from Iran cannot enter Australia.
- Iranian nationals already inside Australia are not affected by this rule.
- Family members of Australian Citizens, PR and approved exceptions can enter.
- Restriction is temporary but could be extended.

Step-by-Step guide for an Australian Student Visa:

1.- Letter of Offer: After applying to an Australian educational institution, you may receive a Letter of Offer.

2.- Confirmation of Enrolment: Once you accept the offer and pay the required deposit, the institution will issue a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). The CoE is mandatory for your student visa application and must be included in your student visa application, by doing so, you will prove the Australian Government that you are successfully enrolled.

3.- Gather Required Documents: You will have to gather and provide documents such as: valid passport, CoE, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), proof of financial capacity (bank statements, scholarship), english language proficiency evidence (IELTS, PTE, etc.), academic transcripts and certificates, Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement.

4.- Preparation of Application: Your application will be prepared by our agent, we will send you the PDF file for your review.

5.- Apply for the Student Visa 500: We will send you an online questionnaire to complete. Once you have provided all information and the required documents, we will upload them on your behalf and proceed with the visa application fee payment.

6.- Health requirement: Depending on the country of residence, you may be asked to provide biometrics (fingerprints and photo) at a local Visa Application Centre. Health examinations may also be required depending on your country of residence.

7.- Visa Processing: Processing times vary by country and individual circumstances.

8.- Visa Outcome: If approved, you will receive a visa grant notification with the visa conditions and validity period. If the visa is refused, the notice will explain the reasons and appeal options (if applicable).

9.- Prepare for Travel: You should book your flights only after your visa has been granted. Please ensure that you have an up-to-date Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). Keep a copy of your visa grant letter and Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) with you, as these documents may be requested by immigration authorities upon your arrival in Australia.
