Condor Migration

Condor Migration We want to make the visa process less stressful for you and your business. You need an employer in Australia to sponsor you for this visa.

A crash course in migration options for applicants:

Points Based Visas (491/190/189): your age, education, english language ability and work experience awards you points. πŸ“’ Important Update from the Department: Changes to Skilled and Employer Sponsored Visa Processing Priorities πŸ“’

The Department has updated the way it prioritises the processing of skilled and employer-sponsored visa applications.

Key changes include:

βœ… Accredited sponsors will no longer receive priority processing.
βœ… Regional employer-sponsored positions will no longer be prioritised.
βœ… Prioritisation will be given to applicants that are onshore rather than offshore.

These changes represent a significant shift in processing priorities and may impact expected visa processing timeframes for both employers and applicants.

The Order of Priority will now be:
1️⃣ Onshore law enforcement and defence
2️⃣ Offshore law enforcement and defence
3️⃣ Onshore Healthcare, Teaching and Construction
4️⃣ All other onshore applications
5️⃣ All other offshore applications

πŸ”Ž Employers and visa applicants should carefully consider how these changes may affect their current or future applications and seek advice where necessary.

πŸ“£ Our very own Ton Chau will be presenting virtually during QUT’s upcoming Career Con at the Pathways to Permanent Residency Workshop on Tuesday 4th August at 2.30 - 3.30pm πŸ“£

Interested in learning about your pathways to permanent residency in Australia? This seminar is designed to help temporary visa holders understand some key visa options, including the 485 Graduate Visa, skilled migration pathways (189, 190 and 491 visas), and employer-sponsored visas such as the 482, 494 and 186 visas. We will also explain skills assessments and how points are calculated and discuss strategies to optimise your eligibility under the skilled visa program. Importantly, we'll highlight some of the key considerations that can help you assess whether the pathway you are currently relying on is realistic and what steps you may need to take to improve your prospects.
