New Migration Update!!!!

The government has passed new laws that will introduce a public register of approved employer sponsors in Australia.

This register will include key details such as the sponsor’s name, ABN, location, number of nominations, and the types of occupations they sponsor.

The aim is to increase transparency and help address migrant worker exploitation.

The register will be published on the Department of Home Affairs website once the law comes into effect.

The Bill has already been passed by Parliament and will commence after receiving Royal Assent, either on a set date or within six months.
