At Motoring Lawyer we take care of a wide range of motoring cases in court, but where possible we try to ensure that the case never has to make it to court.
Recently we represented a client for using a vehicle without the appropriate insurance in place. This wasn’t a typical case of no driver insurance as the client believed to have the appropriate insurance in place.
When an eagle eyed police officer checked the insurance out he discovered that the client had *allegedly* failed to declare his penalty points to his insurer when setting up his new policy. As this is not a typical motoring offence case it involved a complex legal issue of whether an insurance policy is VOID or VOIDABLE if penalty points have not been disclosed to the insurer.
Due to the complexity of the case our client placed his case in our experienced hands. After a lot of hard work from the team at Motoring Lawyer the case was subsequently withdrawn at court and the client faced no further charges.
The client was delighted that the case had been dropped, especially as it was a simple error on behalf of the client when setting up the policy. Another delighted client who has benefited from our combined decades of experience in representing client’s motoring matters!
