Future Lawyers in the Making!

Last week, we were delighted to welcome Monty Fox and Maddie Benton to BJT Legal as part of our 2026 Work Experience Program.

Over five days, the students participated in a structured and engaging program designed to provide insight into the legal profession through practical experiences, shadowing opportunities, workshops, and a week-long project culminating in a final presentation.

A special thank you to Michael Mennen and Tynan Haintz for mentoring the students throughout the week and sharing their knowledge and experience. Monty and Maddie approached every activity with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a willingness to learn. It was a pleasure to have them as part of the BJT team, and we look forward to seeing what they achieve in the future. We wish both students every success on their future career journeys.

Congratulations to Kellie Gregg on her promotion to Senior Associate in our Family Law Team!

Since joining BJT Legal in 2008 as a conveyancing clerk in our Property team, Kellie has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to learning, professional growth and client service.

After being admitted to practice, Kellie joined our Family Law team, assisting clients navigating separation, parenting, property and family violence matters.

With an appetite for continuous learning, Kellie received a Master of Applied Law (Family Law), is a Graduate Fellow of The College of Law, and recently qualified as an Independent Children's Lawyer committed to protecting the best interests of children.

We are incredibly proud of all that Kellie has achieved throughout her career at BJT Legal and thank her for her longstanding contribution to our firm. Congratulations on this well-deserved promotion!
