Active listings have reached around 8000 properties, more than double the level recorded in March and significantly higher than a year earlier. For sellers, this changing market makes it increasingly important to get the strategy right from the outset — from pricing and presentation through to marketing and negotiation.
Demand for rental properties remains high. This is demonstrated by the Perths vacancy rate, which is 1.9 per cent, and the median time to rent a property, which remains around two weeks (REIWA).
