The Kazakhstan chapter of the guide was prepared by GRATA International experts Assel Ilyassova and Lyazzat Zhilkibagarova.

The publication provides an overview of key aspects of international taxation in Kazakhstan, including domestic sources of international tax law, double tax treaties, the Multilateral Instrument (MLI), tax structuring approaches, cross-border transactions, tax disputes, and the practical application of international tax treaties in Kazakhstan.
