Responsibilities:
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
- Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings
- Review legal documents and prepare legal opinions, memos
- Review and monitor the changes in the Armenian legislation and industry developments applicable to the clients' business
- Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other associates, paralegals and support staff
- Perform other duties assigned by supervising associates or partners
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s degree and admission to the Armenian Bar will be considered as an advantage
- Legal experience in a business or a law firm environment for at least 2 years
- Experience in working across multiple jurisdictions, experience in working with foreign documents and companies
- Experience in the field of corporate law will be considered as an advantage
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Strong contract drafting skills
- Fluency in Armenian, English and Russian is required; French will be considered as an advantage
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with other associates
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to details
