An official tenancy contract cannot be broken before the date specified on it unless it was agreed upon between you and the landlord.
If the landlord insists and is putting pressure on you, you have the right to visit the rent dispute authority in your emirate and lodge a complaint against your landlord.

Here are our quick tips before purchasing property in Dubai. Make sure that:
- The real estate office is licensed by and registered with the Land Department (RERA).
- The developer is registered and has opened an escrow account at the Land Department (RERA).
- The questioner’s unit is registered in the questioner’s name at the Land Department (RERA).
- And finally, that the purchase agreement mentions that at the time of the handover of the premises, the developer will allow the buyer to have the title deed in his name and that the title deed will be officially registered with the Land Department (RERA).
