The quarter on quarter dip is real. So is the base it is measured against. Q1 2026 saw around 45,200 residential transactions, up around 3.9 percent year on year, after three straight quarters above 50,000, per Savills and DLD.
Value barely moved against Q4 and rose around 19 percent year on year. Fewer deals at higher value is what a market looks like once it grows up.
