Emirati Women's Day & The Law
We live in one of the most advanced and safest countries in the world, I've had the privilege to confirm this through my extensive travels and experiences across different countries from a very young age. and I am also certain that the United Arab Emirates is one of the best countries in the world in terms of humanity, governance, and the application of the law.
This certainty was supported by the nature of my work as a lawyer. I have served as a Legal Affairs Manager for major multinational corporations in various industries, continuously transitioning from one organization to another in pursuit of new achievements and the accumulation of invaluable experiences, for which I am immensely grateful.
I assert that I have achieved numerous successes and garnered extensive expertise, as validated by those who have had the opportunity to collaborate with me. Eventually, I embarked on my own legal practice, partnering in a prestigious law firm based in Dubai. Through all of these experiences, I have become known for my expertise in various legal systems, rules, and regulations across multiple nationalities and in various legal matters
In light of these experiences, I've come to appreciate that the UAE's Legislature ranks among the most prestigious legislative bodies in the world due to its flexibility and precision in crafting laws. This led me to develop a deep passion for the legal profession, and I dedicated myself to educating myself in this noble profession by reading numerous international and local legal books. It's reasonable to say that this long journey and its successes would not have been possible without the support of an extraordinary person who has been a source of my strength, patience, and determination to succeed. That person is my mother. God has blessed her with health and well-being, and she has been the fuel that has driven my life. She has been like medicine for all the pains that life brings. She has been and continues to be the oxygen that keeps life going. She has been the driving force behind every success in my life. May God bless her throughout my life, and after her, my wife has taken on this role and has become my life advisor. Life moves forward under her watchful eye and supervision, and whenever she finds a mistake, she corrects it immediately. With my mother and wife by my side, my daughter, the flower of life, blossoms. Her innocent smile washes away all the worries of the day and the hard work.
A woman is indeed a divine gift in this world. Despite the immense contributions women make to our lives, their requests in return are modest – a supportive presence during challenging moments and a kind-hearted soul that offers protection and assurance. By fulfilling these two simple requests, you can achieve greatness in numerous aspects of life. Let us not forget the wisdom of our beloved Prophet, The Prophet (ﷺ) said,) O Allah, I declare inviolable the rights of two weak ones: the orphans and women (. "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) told the truth."
In the United Arab Emirates, under the wise and just leadership, we see remarkable achievements in protecting and empowering women, and recognizing their fair role in the global community.
When you educate a man, you educate an individual; when you educate a woman, you educate a family.
Today, thanks to Allah, we see Emirati women actively participating in various fields, including the armed forces, military aviation, civil aviation, the police, medicine, law, judiciary, transportation, communications, and all types of government departments. Why not? Women constitute half of society, and they are the ones who give birth to and raise the other half. They are the wellspring of life's and, therefore, must play an integral role in the Arab and Islamic world, as we see in the United Arab Emirates. This great country, founded by the late Sheikh Zayed (may Allah have mercy on him), will always remain at the forefront because it follows the right path to become a great international nation, God willing.
O Allah, protect the United Arab Emirates, its leaders, citizens, and residents, and bless them with righteous offspring.
