Ominyat plans city’s largest apartment in $1.3bn project
Dubai home will have private 35m infinity pool, price remains *top secret*

Ominyat Properties is working on a dew development that will break records in the Dubai real estate market.

The penthouse apartment at its new flagship project, the Orla, on Palm Jumeirah, will be spread over an enormous 50,000sq ft when completed according to media reports.

The Orla is a $1.3bn (AED5bn) luxury property taking shape on the outer fronds of Palm Jumeirah.

“The penthouse – we prefer to call it the ‘sky palace’ – will have its own lobby, arrival area, elevator and a 35m infinity pool. Penthouse apartments at the apex of Palm Jumeirah are highly desirable properties.

An Italian design firm, Lazzarini Design Studio, has drafted plans for a massive boat shaped like an oversized tortoise with outstretched flippers. The ship will be big enough to hold various hotels, apartments, condos, shopping centers, parks, and other amenities for up to 60,000 guests.
Extending 1,800 feet in length and measuring 2,000 feet at its widest point, the boat is poised to be the largest floating structure ever built.
According to the firm, the total cost to build the massive vessel will be nothing short of $8 billion. Construction will also take, at minimum, eight years.
