when two souls connect .

I got fired last week as a domestic worker ‚ out of the blue they don't want a worker who doesn't have a matric . well ever since my father died ‚ I couldn't go back to school . anyway I'm in the kitchen humming and washing the dishes . till mom walks in and disturbs my peace.
Reneilwe : look at it ‚ making noise in a house that isn't it . the little sister got married to a rich man whereas IT is stuck in someone's house busy making noise ! jobless and repeating the same outfits !!
me : (I felt this lump on my throat ‚ I couldn't swallow it but I turned around and laughed looking at my mom) how interesting is that ma .
Kgalalelo walks in with shopping bags .
Kgalalelo : hello family !
reneilwe : my lovely daughter !
Kgalalelo : hey sis .
me : hi little one (hugging her) .
Reneilwe : (clears throat and breaks our hug) kgalalelo my lovely princess ‚ what have you got for me ?
Kgalalelo : um ... a pair of clothes . Lindani couldn't hold himself but buy his mother-in-law a few dresses .
Reneilwe : oooooh ! (ululates) am I not the luckiest ? having a rich son-in-law is perfect !
me : LOL (drops a plate in the zink and walks to my room).
I scrolled through my phone to find a place to rent . my door opened widely ‚ it was mom and some guys holding boxes.
reneilwe : this is the room !! put the boxes anywhere !
me : ma what's going on ?
reneilwe : excuse me ? this is my house and don't ask me such . this is gonna be where I store all my old stuff ‚ more like a storage for bygones . and I'm looking at one right now .
me : ma where am I gonna sleep ?
reneilwe : on my head !!(walks out) .
me : take these boxes out !!(talking to the guys) .
I tried pushing one of them but he was strong for me . he pushed me to the floor .

the way mom treats my sister is really heartbreaking. anyway ‚ I'm in my office speaking to lindani on the phone .
