There are dozens of citizenship and residency programmes. Almost none of the comparisons people make between them matter.
Answer these questions before you look at a single brochure.
What is actually driving this decision? Business flexibility, family security, tax planning, and political risk each point toward different programmes. Naming the real driver narrows the field faster than any comparison chart ever will.
How much time can you realistically commit? Some programmes require physical presence. Others do not. Be honest about your travel patterns before a route looks attractive on paper.
Does this serve you, or your family for generations? A fast, transactional route suits a specific need. A long-term jurisdictional strategy is a different decision entirely, with different programmes suited to it.
What is your timeline, and why? A genuine deadline changes what is sensible. A vague sense of urgency usually does not.
What does life after approval actually look like? Renewal conditions, reporting obligations, and ongoing ties to the jurisdiction matter as much as the application itself.
Have you separated the programme from the advisor? A strong programme poorly advised can still go wrong. The quality of guidance shapes the outcome as much as the programme you choose.
Once you have the answers, the list of programmes that make sense for you gets much shorter.
