Last week we explored the meaning of NFT and what value it brings.

The idea is quite straightforward - a token is created to represent the digital asset via smart contract. When you buy the token, you own the digital asset.

This week, we want to introduce to you about Synthetic Tokens.

The intention of our post today is to give you a simplified explanation of a Synthetic Token.

On its face value, it does look somewhat like a derivative.

So people tend to generalise a synthetic token as a security or a financial product.

BUT is a synthetic token really a security?

We will discuss more on this in our next post.
